Heart Syrup

You cant cure a broken heart with tylenol,
You cant glue it together if it should fall.
Maybe its true, what they say,
That theres only one true way,
To be loved again, and to love in return.
But what if you never learn?
There is no solution to mend the heart,
So tonight, Ill start.
With two tablespoons of love,
And hope for what exists above.
A drop of affection,
And a dash of reflection.
Six teaspoons of tears,
Gathered over the years,
And a pinch of your worst fears.
One splash of memories,
Two notes from your favorite melodies,
And eight falling snowflakes,
Is all it reallt takes,
To cure the heart broken every day,
Broken in every way.

But Ill stick with my way...
