Array ( [sid] => 29157 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => cast away [time] => 2003-12-11 16:37:20 [hometext] => it's dark, cold and rainy and i'm depressed..... [bodytext] => i caught my reflection passing
in dark fathomless windows
streetlamp triumphs over darkness
walking in cold apprehensive steps
afraid of what my heart demands
not willing to give so much
for so very little in return
it is my own perverted thinking
leading me on this dark excursion
black waters eddy under the bridge
singing a chorus that beckons me
to float into this lover's arms
so strong and cold and silently
forever is a long long time, i say
there is no change of heart, he warns
as my frozen hands grip the cold steel rail
the icy wind begins to wail
a funeral song in memory
of all the dreams that failed to be
in disappointments collectively
drop upon the waters flow
i cast myself down below
into icy overflowing rivulet
whose harsh kiss steals my breath
now bound to him in blessed death
