When children sorrow because of rain
I know you are crying mercifully for me
Your swath cannot be constrained
When the wind blows through my hair
That is your sigh of relief and regret
I am lost forever
The cold stillness consumes me
Freezing the blood in my veins
Breathing on your behalf
...Am I still alive?
My heart stops beating as I taunt the dead
Silence is deafening and dreamless
I am immobilized by my past
I cannot run, I cannot escape
Living a lie so that I can hide from your face
Memories and shame opress me
I am nothing
Cold and forsaken
Mourning my love for you with everything I am
Twighlight endures forever
Time is frozen by my thawing soul
I beckon to the moon endlessly
Return to me, my love!
And as the moon wanes
I know hope is lost
Because it is your soul shunning me forever
