As I look across my yard
knowing life is so ever hard
wondering how it got to be
this dying soul I call me.
And as I look up to the sky
this is a perfect day to die.
The trees tell stories of my yesteryears
of love and life and all my fears
and silence is the only sound
as darkness lingers all around.
Silently I break down to cry
this is a perfect day to die.

This is brilliant, truly inspirational and hits close to home...

i love the way this is written and the words used, i could say cheer up and have a happy new year but somehow i know those words wont help any so all i can say is that if you ever want to talk then i'm here...

Take Care
Love 'n Hugs
- Becca

your poem was written really well.
the repetition was put in well, for example. i know how you feel...well...'xept for the perfect day thing...=/
when you're down, the only way to go is up, so try to not despair! and keep writing!
