[time] => 2004-01-09 00:20:02 [hometext] => It has been more then a month since me and my ex-fiancee broke up, but the love is still there. I wrote this one a few mins ago, hope you all enjoy it.. Support the poets vote and comment on our work.. Majestic [bodytext] => You told me it was time to go,
Told me I needed to leave,
Told me this is something I should know,
That I was not who you thought I would be.

With everything inside of me,
All you said was all I heard,
So many conversations filled with mystery,
So many spoken tones filled with empty words,

All of these dreams I built up from the ground,
You wonder why I cried, why I was so affected,
You took my dreams and brought them crashing down,
The pain fill’s my heart; you act as if it was unexpected.

Please don’t close you eyes,
This is your life,
Are you who you thought you would be?
Or are you still living this false fantasy?

I am burning with desire when you are near me,
I am burning with desire when I hear you speak,
My desire burns brighter with mysteries,
Of mysteries of your love I still seek.

I am standing on the edge of me,
Standing by our love that can no longer be,
I tried to slow this love down,
This silence in my heart still spins me around.

Your look is like a symphony,
Your heart beats like a well-strung cortet,
You are the one that opens the eyes of humanity,
Your love is one I will never forget.

--------_________-----------

I refuse to give up on you now,
I awake alone, and want to blow into pieces,
I refuse to even back down,
Can you feel my love for you? How it never ceases?

Maybe I am a fool for loving you,
Maybe I should forget it all and move along,
I mean that is what I am expected to do,
But my heart tells me to stay; and the message is so strong.

I feel ya on this one man. Good write. I got 3 months though and have gotten over it. It was my choice that we don't talk.
