Tell me of times when food filled stomachs
Air filled lungs and love and life were one of the same
Tell me of times that sirens did not wail
Televisions did not scream and radios did not cry
Tell me then when we are done
That innocence will live on
Tell us of our grand triumphs
To the neighbours dead teenage son
Tell me then for I have not lost
But will in years to come
Tell us then that we know not of ones suffering
Until we have become
If life is a circle
Then how vicious it can be
Luckily our ignorance is not stupidity
Just naivety roaming free
Tell me then when I am done
Where I shall go to withdraw
And answer me the question
Why some images are worth dying for

many times we are pleased with the progress that humans have made over just these short year, but we can't be proud of the fact that, suicides, rapes, murder ect. has risen like never before.
sometimes something that seems so right, will only in the end cause the unbearable pain of watching our laughter and memories fade into the cold hands of technology.

good write, i enjoyed it.
