It’s killing me I try to hide
I fight the fear although it’s winning
I drown in sorrow my world is spinning
I try to breathe I’m suffocating
It hurts me deeply I’m sick of waiting
I want to live but lost all feeling
You broke my heart it won’t start healing
I’m tired of running I stop in my tracks
Lie down on the floor and try to relax
Sleep creeps slowly then it consumes
I wake up screaming as the dream boldly looms
Haunting me I shake in fear
I look away but feel it coming near
No food no sleep no comfort no peace
I beg I cry it will not cease
Im terrified I have lost all
And regret the day I started to fall
I hate the way you lied to me
And only wish I could make you see
The knives and stones you’re throwing
All along I thought we were growing
The deception burns as my lonely heart yearns
My mind grows weary
And soul lost in this query
My silent heart dead
Sealed by the tears that I shed

Dread and fear and pain felt through words of beauty. Although not written about anything beautiful at all. But I feel and capture the suffering. I thought this was excellent. A great piece. My heart feels this terribly. Take care.

Emma.
