As I always do going to work too!
There’s nothing like a good walk, but not a perk
That is, if walking only two and a quarter mile to do
Is a lot, then, I walk at least a good 10 miles doing my job!
But most times, it’s dark in the mornings coming in
So looking up this time, is seeing stars in bunches, a mob!
I am usually in a hurry in the mornings, seeing not much in the din
However, my days time walks home, I see a lot more
The bridge is about one mile long, overlooking the river
Slowly I walk, taking in sites, some ok, others of the homeless and poor
Looking around, seeing these sites and more, some do make you shiver
I realize just what I have, thankful for just making do
How I can justify God’s masks, perhaps to ensue
His wonders and pains to open our minds
Two weeks ago, I looked up for no reason at all
It was as if a painting had been done; the clouds did unwind
A beautiful figure of an angel up there to call
Me, wake up the spirit of my heart
How I just stood there in wonder, the sun shining down
Maybe it was just my imagination, or just a part
Of Gods ways of letting me know, he is all around
My walks take on a more subtle tone now
Everywhere I go, I know I am not alone
HE is with me, shining on me somehow
Taking me safely to my home
