Every one of my real life friends,
Are asleep or away,
My friends on the net,

Tend to be there,
With no quality lost
From good humour
Or care.

We talk for hours,
Share our bad day,
Nothing to hold back and
So much to say.

Typing so much,
Does give me bad RSI!
And I must confess,
for a cannot lie...

I do have an unrealistic dream,
That one day, perhaps you'll be
More than letters on a screen.

I agree with Jenni... and you! I have a lot of friends that I have made over the internet, and they are always there for me! It's glad to know that even while the rest of the world is sleeping there is someone else out there who cares! Great write!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
