how people will change,
through the years you start to see,
their faces will look a little strange,
When not seeing someone for several years,
and hardley see their face,
then a new face suddenly appears,
and you forget why you lost trace,
Realizing how people change in time,
makes you think of things,
not keeping in touch seems like a crime,
imagine the joy it brings,
Loosing sight of people past,
those you could have called,
but now thats in the past,
written on a forgotten wall,
So many times we will often say,
"I'll call or write you",
then we get busy in our days,
and forget the things we promised to do,
before we know it that persons gone,
and now we cant no longer call,
so waiting till tomorrow is wrong,
because it might be too late after all!

Lots of wisdom found in this poem. It is well constructed, flows wonderfully and makes an obvious point to the reader to keep in touch. You really got me to thinking and I honestly don't know why we lose touch and then after we realize it we take no steps to renew, at least I haven't. This gives me something to think on. I loved it. Dear Christina
A wonderful poem to help us remember the things in our lives that are important and should be taken more seriously. I think back and realize that those I lost along the way I should dig up their address this very day! But like you said.....I get busy and forget....bet they did too! A reunion of sorts is so much fun....sometimes....other times it's left me very blue!
Beautifully written poem.......i'll busy tomorrow for sure!
love
consue

Very good write and great message. Sometimes it's too late and they are still here. Very sad.
