To think that was where I was

To be given the hope of something more
To know who I was really made for
To be held in the palm of his hand
And to know that it is all for his plans
To be filled with love that cannot compare
To know my heart is fully repaired

Struggling struggling in this world
Painful memories all unfold
Years of anguish take their toll
Words of anger are all I hold
All my dreams are quickly shattered

Great poem. You kept the flow going throughout the whole thing. Great expression of feelings written in those words.
