Array ( [sid] => 32405 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The EEVIL Doctor [time] => 2004-01-22 15:27:48 [hometext] => I wrote this poem after I had my wisdom teeth removed. I plan on sending it to the doctor who performed the surgery. Hope you laugh! [bodytext] => Silently she waits in the chair of doom.
Waiting for the evil doctor to enter the room.
Calm and secure she sits with no fear,
unknowing of the harsh treatment that draws quickly near.

Suddenly, he enters the room with a bang.
The door hanging helpless against its weak frame.
She stares straight ahead, wishing not to see,
the horrible being who operates with such joy and glee.

A curtain of plastic is draped upon her neck,
as the doctor and his accomplice prepare the deck.
He begins to explain the process ahead,
while she begins to wish that she were already dead.

A mask is layed just over her nose.
Oxygen, they explained, so she could easily doze.
She felt like a Sci-Fi and Horror movie rolled into one.
“I bet”, she thought, “these goons are having fun.”

Unbeknown to her, an IV was to be used.
Her mother conveniently left this out of the news.
The hunchbacked accomplice straightened her arm,
as she fought back the urge to do them both great harm.

They began to tap and prod at her veins,
til she thought she was going to become insane.
Suddenly a needle appeared and struck with a pinch.
It hurt, but she fought off the instinct to cringe.

The medicine began to flow steady but slow.
“Oh Lord take me”, she cried, ”I’m ready to go!”
She began to feel faint, and saw a great light.
Go towards it, she thought, but had already lost sight.

She wakes to the sound of the evil doctor calling her name.
Saying, “Jennifer, wake up, do you feel any pain?”
Her lips were huge! She feels with an index and thumb,
but the hunchback accomplice assures her they’re only numb.

She tries to stand up, but falls back with a woosh!
What did they drug her with- that she lands on her toosh?
She glares at the scientists with sweet revenge on her mind,
when she remembers the papers she had already signed.
