Darkness surrounds me I tremble with fear,
I reach out to hold you but your no where near.
I whisper your name into the silent night,
and then I remember the awful fight...
The look on your face as you walked out the door..
the sound of my sobs as I fell to the floor.
I did not try to stop you,yet I did not want you to go.
So confusing is this mess I loved you but hated you so.
So violent was our love we knew it could not last.
Now your just a memory bitter yet sweet of my past.

| yes been there and done that. know how it feels to love and hate. thinking what if I do this better or that. feeling unloved. and then turning around beg to still keep you around.cause you cant live with them....good write.. hate that you went through something in order to write it tho... sandy |
