[hometext] => Are you worried about judgment day? Be happy you've the luxury of waiting till death.
[bodytext] => It doesn’t seem to matter How fast I’ve run or well I’ve hid My life is torn to tatters For of my past, I can’t be rid The ones I hold most dear Our souls rooted together soundly Though the person they love’s still here Find their view effected profoundly They will never again see me As the person they once had They no longer see me clearly For through my past, the view is bad Could the person they first saw be real? Or does the past prove me fake? The change towards me, I can feel As my heart they now forsake I know my punishment is well deserved But is it ever going to end? With it, my shame is preserved Which doesn’t allow my soul to mend All future hope is sucked away Unless I look forward to being alone No matter how much I pay My past is still written in stone Our sins will always be laid bare For every eye to see Of judgment day, we’re all aware At GOD’s feet is where we’ll be I don’t have to be patient Or afraid of that day’s coming My judgment’s in the present Not upon my life’s closing [comments] => 1 [counter] => 146 [topic] => 13 [informant] => drgnreborn [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
