I want to feel you near me
In body, mind and soul
I am yours completely
But can you accept me in whole?
I need to know the answer
But I fear it all too much
Ignorance may be better
If knowing means losing touch
Ive often seen myself cheaply
And not asked for enough
Maybe Im being too pushy
Knowing is just so tough
There are some things of which Im sure
Like the qualities I see in you,
The emotion my heart does pour
And the greatness of your value
You are virtuous and true
And you care what I may feel
When I spend time with you
I can feel the wounds begin to heal
Your smile brightens my day
And warms my heart through
I look forward to what you might say
And love to watch everything you do
I see you as very rare
You prove it consistently
Yet, you seem to be unaware
You are priceless to me
