She loves but one, this man, not me
Man of courage and man of faith
I know this man to be this way
For we are friends, him and me
I love her so, that I want her contentment
If be with him, so be it, for the love is mine, but for her, in vain
This girl of ours is beautiful, sweet and tame
I wish that this seraph be joyful in the world which has gave her ache
But I cannot be the one to take her pain
This one burden I wish I could sustain
Another man of courage and faith
Will bear the cross and bear the pain

Love made in the clouds
Lofty and transparent
As if it was meant to be
In a different way
In a way unachievable
In a way unbelievable
The way love was not meant to be

I trust in this other man, for he will make her happy
For he will make her glad
He will show her what a true man is
For they will love, care and trust in each other
And truly in my heart of hearts that is all I want
Be it, for me, hard, bitter and cold

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
