Would they whisper sweet nothings, or join us and pray,
Would they shine bright, or fade outta sight,
Would they shoot across the night sky, or break down and cry,

If the sun could understand our love, what would it feel,
Would it burn with desire, could it tell this is real,
Would it swell with pride each time we passed by,
Would it light up the room and cause the roses to bloom,

If the roses could see, what would they think,
Would they release their perfume and help me sweep you off your feet,
Would they bow, knowing that true love has graced their humble ground,
Would they dance out of the sand, falling for this woman so adored by her man,

If the clouds could hear, do you think they would understand,
Would they assist me in building your dreams with my bare hands,
Would they part and and show us a wonderful sky of blue,
Would they empty their souls, allowing us to see a rainbow?

Forever Faithful
The Phantom
