if there were a way to capture breezes,
i would take it not; yet breathe of its air deeply,
you are a warm breath of spring upon my soul,
i do not own you; nor ever would i want to,
our time together more precious than any gold,
brilliant moments filled with happy laughter,
kaleidoscope of many faceted colours, are you,
everytime when you smile i feel more alive,

each day we share is a gift of rare beauty,
hours with you fly by as an eagle in the sky,
times real shared tears ever followed by hugs,
heartfelt love goes your way from me mightily,
my humbled heart grateful you are in my life,
you are more dear to me upon each waking day,
oh to you, what could i possibly give in return?
only my promise of devoted loving friendship,

you mean more to me than you may ever know,
so if there were a way to capture breezes...

oh dearest friend,
i would have to decline.

I agree, this is an absolutely beautiful poem.
And you did really good on the title, I’m sorry to say I skip over some poems because I just don’t think they sound intriguing but yours pulled me in and I wasn’t disappointed great write.

Holy crap nessa, this is amazing!! LOL there's simply no other way to say it. The way it's written is just gorgeous, it's so utterly beautiful... it's so Shakespeare-esque. I'm so jealous!!! LOL This is incredible, I think it may be my personal favourite of yours. Once again... holy crap! :D
