Mingled with the awful scent of fast decaying wine,
Greets a solemn congregation, all in garb of black,
Greets them walking somberly, with all light at their backs.
Slowly now upon the road, they trudge through dust and mud,
Until they reach a broken bridge,o'er a flowing river of blood.
Still they find their way across,to answer an alter call,
Still in weary droves they go,to answer one and all.
Now the grim faced mob of souls, see the firelight,
Of the gate swung wide for them, and the church, now just in sight,
Through these gates none return,no matter what they say,
Through these gates clad in fire, they bid farewell to day.
Into this church, they carry on,and sit in darkened pews,
To hear their master, laugh and preach,as all recieve their dues,
Each will sit unwillingly,to hear his blasphemous sermon,
Each undying soul will sit like filthy unsought vermin.
Their master has arrived at last, and with black uncaring eyes,
He stares each soul up and down, with a countenance wrought of lies,
AWAKE!he speaks in tones of death,to those witless souls,
AWAKE AND FEEL!he speaks again, in cold harsh waking billows.
Screaming now, they see their fate, and pray for God above,
To free them from this gastly place, deviod of light and love.
Wailing tears of clotted blood, fall on the ashen floor,
Wailing cries,go unheard,as God shuts heaven's door.
Satan laughs with spiteful glee,as he sees them crying there,
Chained forever to the wickedness,in his dark and evil glare.
No more, will death visit them, though they wish it so,
No more, happy days of joy,in the fire's deep red glow.
So listen now,and hear these words, spoken to your soul,
Avoid this place, and pray to God,before death bids you go.
REPENT,and live unending life,upon God's golden shore,
REPENT,I beg,and live for Christ, the one who all adore.

Stunning...I am now taking notice. The flow is quite mellifluous, and the rhymes rich and original. I'll be keeping an eye on your posts, since this one impressed me a great deal.

Truly,
-V.S.
