Array ( [sid] => 34026 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Player Took A Fall [time] => 2004-02-05 22:39:10 [hometext] => back before I changed my life, when I played people. (Then I got played... So I changed) [bodytext] => I saw you there
on that day.
I decided you
were the one to play.

I stood and waited
For you to notice me.
You came over
Once you saw me.

I laid my trap
out just right.
And in you fell
throught the night.

I gave you my number
As I always did.
Nothing was different;
You did as I bid.

As time passed by
the closer you came
to seeing the truth
The end of my game.

Then arose the morning,
your body next to mine,
relizations hit all at once
and tingled down my spine.

So I threw you out
As far as I could get.
But you came back again
But unlike the rest, you I let.

No matter how hard I tried
I couldn't get away
from what we made
it was there everyday.

I made the fatal mistake
of every player to live;
I fell for the played
But still you would forgive.

Why is what I want to know
How; I don't get at all.
How you forgave
the player who took a fall. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Elf [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
