Why do I live in fear?

This is the dead land
This is the cactus land
This is your land
And this is my land.

Why do we kill our brothers
Persecuting each other like animals
Herd each other to our death
Like pigs to the slaughter
Today is the day no pigs shall die.

I am the Pigman.
Lonely
This is my house
These are my things
Lonely
Will you be my friends
And lie me on a bed of roses?

Snow falls from a black sky
Lonely. Afraid.
Dying in this midnight gloom
The snow whitens my head
Whitens my soul pure.
But I can never be pure again.

Fleeing from a hardened life
Drugs.
Sex.
Rock and Roll.
False gods, golden calves,
They took over my heart
Blackened my soul.
Paradise was lost,
And though I had it made,
I made a hell of heaven

Toys in the attic
Drink in the crawlspace
Cold.
Deserted.
Yet warm, friendly.

Snow falls from a black sky
But I?m alone no more
Friends in the pages
I live life through authors eyes
The pages of my books.
Drowning in my own grey matter,
Throw me a line.
Help.

Tired of living, I
long for a death unknown
Anywhere, anytime
I need the thrills, the adventure of it all.

Snow falls from a black sky
Welcome back. Hell
The icy fires burn hot.
The pain overwhelms
Flames lick at our feet.
The cactus burns
The houses burn
The tyger, tyger burns so bright.
Negroes dance in the flames
Wearing feathers, smoking pipes
Brightly dancing
Round and round
Dancing forever. And ever.

Snow falls from a black sky
Light from dark, white from black
White snow blankets the ground
Over. The world spins
My wrists empty out my life
Blood, red wine, coats the ground
I am crossing the Stygian river now.

This is a nice one. I like the feeling the imagry and the fact that you called yourself the Pigman.
I give this a 5 on the Nortiscale.

There's a lot of good stuff here. Nice images and obviously a lot to say. I think tightening would make it much stronger though. There's a site where I post that you can't submit anything longer than 20 lines. This is an excellent way to hone your skills.
