Cammo up, secure my gear, stay focussed attempt to block out the fear,
Will I return I don't know, I feel so alone trying to fend off the cold,
This is the life in which I lead, for America I will bleed,

The mission unknown, but the body count keeps growing,
Will I be next, I cup my hands around this lighter to light my cigarette,
Out here I feel so alone, it's like I'm separated from the world, man I miss home,
It's cold and dark, it feels so empty here in my heart,

Frozen with a thousand mile stare, nothing in site but sand and air,
The sun breaks and I'm left to anticipate,
What could be waiting over that dune, is it the end, is it my doom,
Closer and closer comes the dune, praying and praying I don't hear a boom,

Deep inside I know it's time,
Around the dune we go, oh my God, heavens no.................

Forever Faithful

These lines are breath taking:
Frozen with a thousand mile stare, nothing in site but sand and air,
The sun breaks and I'm left to anticipate,
What could be waiting over that dune, is it the end, is it my doom"..
well done my friend.. venkat
