Array ( [sid] => 34508 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Missing You [time] => 2004-02-10 14:29:16 [hometext] => Who among the veteran internet writers have not felt the calling of anothers heart and soul? Have not been compelled to choose between reality and fantasy. Looking back with a sigh at what might have been . [bodytext] => ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Missing You

I missed you last night
And again today
I missed your smile
The witty things you say

I missed your heart
The way it strengthens mine
The glory of such love
Quite simply divine

Perhaps in this life
Some things are simply not meant to be
For here hearts must be true
And live faithfully

But I pray hold it not against me
Despise me not so much
If my heart longs for your whispers
And the softness of your touch

Russ

Reality is a difficult choice, but one we all have to make. Beware the dragon.
