A heart pure and good
Decorated in colors so bright
Woven in a pattern so tight

Slowly I began to fade
Taking on a duller shade
My edges were tattered and torn
The walls I would no longer adorn

My frayed bits
My frayed wits
Many loose ends
That no one wants to mend

Crumpled and put away
Thinking there I would stay
When out of the blue
A friend I thought true

Slowly you began to mend
Tucking in the loose ends
Washed me to see
My colors set free

Looking like new
Our friendship grew
You blew away the dust
Forming years of trust

Things began to change
You acted so strange
In your eyes no trust
Only manly lust

The whole time you repaired
With lust you had stared
Wanting only one end
From me your friend

You wanted me to keep you warm
In my heart you created a storm
You tried to wrap yourself in my threads
This my heart still dreads

Caught a glimpse of my fading reflection
I could not return your affection
Hurt you recoiled
Then my colors you soiled

Taking my strands
In your strong hands
You began to tear me apart
Beginning with my heart

This is sad! I like the use of the quilt. It could be a person or just a quilt. Curious as to which...?
