[bodytext] => Scratches on a paper, filled with words too hard to find;
Sometimes I just want to give in and fail.
For what’s the purpose in searching my mind
To find words that sink before they can sail?

Abstract words on a page
Covered in nameless emotions.
No real knowledge to support my aim,
It’s just filled with hollow notions.

My words won’t be recalled
In some future legacy.
Who would ever care at all
About some kid’s mindless dreams?

A strange girl staying up late at night
Wondering how to write her songs,
Can’t hold some unheard words of might
On how to right all wrongs.

I am no one special—look straight through me.
The meaningless poems I write don’t matter.
Conforming to what others want me to be,
They voice their opinions in gossip-filled chatter.

Lost in transition from brain to pen,
My point is gone before it’s written down.
Too many emotions resurface again,
And in the end, they’re left to drown.

I doubt and erase, knee-deep in the flaws
Thinking through options still unseen.
Trying to find the perfect clause
For my written imaginary dream.

As memories fade, I’ll keep my notebooks,
Brimming with tortured rhyme.
Poems on love, despair, devotion, and lost looks
Will hold my emotions until the end of time.

These fragments forced through time and thought
Must serve my need for self-awareness
Learning more on my own, than I’ve ever been taught,
For experience is earned through honest rareness.

I will keep on writing until no words remain
For that’s the only way I can cope.
Until I die I’ll face the pain
By holding on to this fading hope.

My poetry, my release a sentiment shared by many of us here I would presume...at least for me personally. Nice poem anyway.

A beautiful expressive poem the you wrote. I love it. It is very good. You are special. I think we all are even though we don't realize it. It is so good to write and release what you want to say. Thanks for the poem. You are very good with your words.
