in my ear.
I have wrinkles under my eyes, and I have
wrinkles on my rear!
Before I started writing this, I was thinking......
where do I not have wrinkles....anywhere?
The skin on my teeth is wrinkled...I swear,
wrinkled also, is my hair!

Do I sit around in despair? Oh My No,
I love my wrinkles!
With lots of wrinkles you can hug better,
It's called cuddles.
Whomever you cuddle with....just slide
into the small crevices.
Easier to hang on to them...in the clutches!
I love my wrinkled hugs.....very muchous!

I've known people to laugh at me for
my distorted bags.
There are drawbacks, though, I must confess.
With such loose skin, if you fall down,
you can smother in the excess!!!

I must be careful when I turn over in bed also.
Turning very slowly, so all can catch up,
or be knocked out by the overflow!
Things become very taxing indeed,
when potty I have to go!
Stretching out all the wrinkles, so it
doesn't hit me down below!

And eating can be quite a trial for me,
I'll try to explain.
I have wrinkles on my lips, one slip as I
bite down.....excruciating pain!
I'm loved a lot in spite of my many
afflictions though.
They love to hug me, and feel my
wrinkled poncho!

I'm especially popular with small
sleepy children.
They love all my comfy folds, and use
them for a cushion.
Would you like to see my picture?
It's free, no creases, nor wrinkled be!
I'll be the most wrinkled little creature
you'll ever see!
But try to over look that and still love me!

Always unexpected original and exuberant. Qualities in your writings that I admire and have taken a partial liking to. I really was grossed out by the initial description thinking it was of you personally. Apologies in advance. Any how...ha ha ha ha nice one.... I really do appreciate your jaunty take on life....

I absolutely adore this poem and that picture is fantastic, so sweet and huggable. What I love most is your outlook on life. I feel very much the same way and not that I love my wrinkles, but I accept them as part of life. I know I am happier in my own skin since I started getting wrinkles. Maybe it loosens you up some?

Love n hugs,
Rita
