How many people rented it before, I don't know
Unbelievably nice neigborhood
I only wish that the building was as good
What a nightmare is this house
Summer season of ants, all year long roaches and even a mouse
Then a door broke of the in-wall closet
Super said she'll fix it,
Three months pass before she does it
After the light switch in the hall decided to take a vacation
We thought of sending the landlord some kind of notification
While the letter reached him,
we got flooded from one floor up
In the bathroom the water is dripping, and it just doesn't stop
Now there's a hole of 6 inches in the ceiling
And it will be there for a while, I have a feeling
And so what if there's noise from the heating all night
"At least it's warm," said the Super "The winter'salmost over, it'll be allright"
So this is the building where I, unfortunately, live
Maybe by the time I'm 50, it'll get fixed
But then I'll have a better apartment I believe [comments] => 5 [counter] => 184 [topic] => 7 [informant] => New_York_Chick [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

LOL! I love it! As an ex New Yorker I can identify with this! Like the Super says, "the winter's almost over", I have heard that one before. Great poem!
