Array ( [sid] => 3556 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Evil has won [time] => 2002-09-08 16:22:53 [hometext] => This is the last of the story to the Familiar Upon. I hope is was worth reading. Please comment on it as well as the first four. [bodytext] => The man looks at his love
Bright blood from her mouth
Her deep dark eyes
Are lost in pain.

“Where are you mist?”
The man cries out loud
“I ask you please
To save her for me.”

He cradles her body
Her lips turning blue
The mist presents herself
Her face a blur.

The man looks up at the mist
Pain and agony in his eyes
“Please you must
I beg you to heal.”

The mists eyes turn cold
The air is thick
“Do you not understand?
The wish you make?”

“The love may be true
The heart doesn’t lie
But all in all
Her life will not be spared.”

“She turns on us
Her evil is known
She stands with Him
And gave up hope.”

He looks to the woman
Cradled in his arms
A whisper is heard
From her bloody lips.

“My Knight, my love
You must not listen
I am good you know
Just let me show you”

“It was a mistake I say
To join His side
I’m sorry Sir Knight
Please heal me right.”

The man looks at the mist
“She’s good I tell you
Please lend your hand
On this beautiful piece.”

The mist looks down
With dread on her face
“I’m sorry Sir Knight
Her honor is not known.”

“She joined with evil
She will parish
Your love will remain
In your heart so true.”

The man looks at his love
Her breathing slows
She opens her mouth and says a last word
“I love you Sir Knight, let it be known.”

The man watches her eyes
Close on thee
Her body numbs
Her mind gives out.

The mist approaches the man on his knees
“I’m sorry Sir Knight
But now you see
I tried to stop you, but you wouldn’t see.”

The man looks over his shoulder
Then looks at his men
He glances back down
At the woman he holds.

“I gave her my word
To love her till death
This I shall make
My last request.”

He draws his dagger
Pointed at his heart
His soldiers yell
He then pierces his heart.

He drops to the ground
Blood drips from his mouth
Grabbing the hand of his love
His words are muffled.

“I…will…not give…up
On true…love…I made
I’m keeping my word
To love till…death.”

He closes his eyes
The mist looks down
The soldiers scream
“Do something!”

The mist looks up
“This is not honor
He gave up his right
The evil escapes.”

“Go on and be brave
I shall watch over you
There are many more battles
That need to be won.”

The mans breathing slows
The darkness unfolds
He takes his last breath
“I…thank you…familiar.” [comments] => 2 [counter] => 178 [topic] => 40 [informant] => country_mistress [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => fantasy )
