Agravating me isn't as rewarding as you may think. [bodytext] => I wish I understood your poetry...i read it over and over and over...in the end I just find myself saying..okay, she broke your heart...you're hurt and spewing out hate. Let's hear something new...lighter please. But maybe I misintrepret..sorry about that spelling...that's why God made spell check (lol) tell me to kiss off...any comments all to the good around here, if you ask me!

Well ok.
Here's the thing.
It's not about her see?
It's about genocide.
The end of what you call your race.
It's about vampires.
It's about death and bloodlust.
It is not about her.
So I am trying to figure out.
Why you would dare mock pain.
Ecspecially when you're wrong.

this I understand..lol...it's clear. You got dumped. you didn't like it, but know what...you need to get over it. She has taken your power away..what a shame...what a *****...and what a woos you are for showing her that kind of poetry so she know she has that power. Man you aren't very smart; but then you're a man...with a name like cobalt I'd expect more...has there been a meltdown???? rotflmao

You don't understand anything.
It's not clear.
I started this dance.
She hasn't taken anything.
Angering me adds to my fire.
You are blind though.
The very young do not always listen.
You wanted attention?
You got it.
Cobalt is used in nuclear weapons.
Maybe look it up next time.
Ever hit an armed nuke with a hammer?
Watch it blow up in your face?
Well you did.
Apparently smarter still than you.
See I'm not angry yet.
You still haven't hit home.
Not with a single thing.
So go for it.
Keep trying.
It shows that you can't read.
It shows you don't know me.
Meltdown indeed.
Silly women thinking men are fools.
Ecspecially those that show emotion.
Shows how much you think.
Maybe talk too much ey?
Bah to you. [comments] => 12 [counter] => 368 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Cobalt [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Writing is one of the most therapeutic forms of healing.
Having the ability to dream, vent, invoke images and bring it to life with written words is a wondrous talent. You do that Cobalt. You write whatever you like, in any genre that suits you.
Some of your best work is a product of pain and it cries out to us all.
You are a great poet, let know one tell you different.
Chin up, I’m proud of you.

Kie

Bah to me? lol, sounds kind of sheepish! All I really want to do is understand. Who are you referring to as young? I'm 55...and I believe you mispelled especially.
I have no problem with you showing emotion, I just have a problem with you allowing a woman to rob you of your power and showing her that it could be done; which was what I thought I saw happening...but you corrected me. I'm ignorant and can't read, but it is you who are wrong. I don't think all men are fools...merely a few...and I don't want your attention, but it seems I have it anyway...now just what to do with it???? Hit you with a hammer? Why I'd never think of such a thing!!!!

My shoe size is 2...my IQ is somewhat larger...LOL. All of you women certainly like Cobalt, don't you? I didn't mean to mock his pain...I don't like to see anyone in pain...but I don't like to see someone standing around laughing at an open wound either..which is what I thought was what might be happening to Cobalt. But he says his poetry is about genocide and not a woman, so I feel better...there's no woman out there getting satisfaction from his hurt.....you all sound like a pack of female wolves protecting your mate...funny.

Skip the insults, miss. You should be bitter--Cobalt is not light with his words when others so ask of him. But attacking his friends will win you a hell you don't want to even imagine. Poems are naturally open to interpretation, as a widening or deepening of meaning, but it's generally not a bright idea to tell a poet what his poem is about. Cobalt is a man of self-respect, and while you'd get nothing but buoyant sarcasm from me, he DOES bite back--and hard. I should know *laughs* I used to be on his bad side.

Your explanation was just fine...now all you're missing is the "I'm sorry." I've done the same thing before, as a lot of others have as well. So get to it, or face the fury of that pack of wolves you were describing.

P.S. Internet language detracts from authority. Don't use it in your apology, must less after some insult--sarcasm is poison to an apology of any sort.

Now, back to my commentary on this poem.
Strong, clear and precise. The usual, as I seem to see nothing less than that from you, and if anything, I'm sure she won't be crossing your path again.

"Literary heretics fiddle with my rhymes; Hiding inspiration and destroying all my lines."
~The Palatine Poet

Oh colbat dear friend.....I'm proud of you for holding your cool.....why does this person harass you so? That's all it is Cobalt...if it wasn't this it would be something else. You conducted yourself kindly and honestly...that's all you can do. I think this person should take a vacation of find some other site to where they can brew!
We like happy people at YPDC.....not folks like you!
