O mother of cosmic energy! Thou art lying
As a coiled serpent at the base of my spine
When thou wert awakened from thy mystic sleep
Thou assumed the form a beautiful lady of splendor
And ascended like a flash of lightening unto thy
Night’s firmament through the path of a Milky-way
Having penetrated all cosmic elements thou did
Enter a thousand-petalled splendorous lotus
Above, in the crown of universe; in my head
And sported with thy concert Lord of universe
Drenching the whole manifested multiplicity
Of universe in seventy two thousand blood vessels
With the nectar flowing from thy radiant feet
With exuberance of nectarine light of Moon
Thou descended down again in thy serpentine
Form, then slept in peace in thy hallow sphere in me.
O Daughter of the Snow-capped Mountain of brain!
May thy braid of locks resembling a dense forest
Of full blown lotuses blue, fragrant, luxuriant,
Soft and shining adorned with a crescent moon
Remove the darkness of ignorance in my heart
O Mother! Thou, the flower bud placed on the crest
Of the dynasty of Mountain king! These long eyes
Of Thine are extended up to the ears with glances
Of luster disturbing placidity of the mind of Siva
Are like the flowery arrows of cupid which appear
As excellent fish in the pond of beauty of thy face
How can I describe the unmatched beauty of your face?
That is again and again lifted up by thy concert Siva
In the intensity of his desire to kiss thee repeatedly
Now I fancy that thy breast milk is the ocean of nectar
Emerging as poetic inspiration from thy heart, for,
It was by drinking it, so graciously given by thee,
This child of India has become a noted poet of world!
(Based on Soundarya Lahari of Adi Sankara)

Remakable work. I found these lines to be my favorites.
"As excellent fish in the pond of beauty of thy face"
and
"O Daughter of the Snow-capped Mountain of brain!"

Quite unique

Dear Venkat,
This is a beautiful description of arousing "Kundalini Shakti" from the base of the body to
The snowcapped mountain of brain showering Nector downwards throughout the body through the network of nervous system. This is a wonderful description
that one must record and preserve in the fabric of brain
and practice.
Well done my dear venkat.
