The soft grains of the wood How it runs and spirals like amber smoke glimmering in the sun it is immortal untouched by time or space pure and flawless perfection. it's beauty is almost to much to bare. Like the first moments of the sunrise when the sun reaches the horizon breaking through, and brilliant in it's colors... oh the colors; Oranges, reds, purples, the dance of light fills my senses. overwhelming me until i can feel nothing else. sheer terror and euphoria at the same time. if only it would last forever

Unlike you, I'm used to sunrises, especially winter ones - and this brings back their humbling power to me very vividly. Thanks for sharing it. |
