is from overcoming so many obstacles.

This strength of mine,
comes from rising each time
my world fell down around me
and then rising back.

This strength of mine,
Trust me, you don't want.
It's been paid for dearly,
and I am sure I am still in debt.

This strength of mine
comes from saying goodbye.
Ten times too many
and forgiving 7 times 70 more.

This strength of mine
comes from having your heart shattered
and finding the courage
to pick up the pieces.

This strength of mine
Never stops fighting,
never gives in,
but occasionally scares me when it wavers

This strength of mine
I wouldn't wish on anyone
it means too much heartbreak
and forgotten abandonment.

This strength of mine
gets me up in the morning
and keeps me going til bed.

Yay. I have the same kind of 'strength' and everyone thinks I'm psycho. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. Great poem.
