something's happening
between us and it's been
going on a long time
dare we call it love
or do we lose something
in the telling
something is going
on between us and
it is good but
it's not pure
i can feel it in
the air as you ask me
for my hand
something's happening
between us as you
tighten your embrace
so dance with me and
be my man until
the music stops and
my husband asks
for me again

Not quite sure who the love is in this poem. Maybe a dog, cat, child, yourself, or the "perfect love" perhaps. Either way, it's a great poem!
