as quickly as her tears
an almost inaudible whisper
that is so difficult to hear
i've been living with this pain
too long to remember that she's always there
(i hope you're there to understand )
that i have been lost in myself
to realize just how much she cares
her voice breaks through the silence, once more
"i love you"
she screams but it might as well be a whisper
i'm too far gone to ever hear her
i slip away quietly but will always have this memory of her to hold onto
i'm cold now but there's nothing she can do
we were searching so long for each other
she had found me but i could never quite see her
now here i turn stone white
she says to save my breathe for another day
but it was spent with my own reply:
