mine is hidden

and reality strikes quickly
when friends are stolen away

teasing and harassment
will never stop
no matter what you do

then they wonder
why teenagers bring weapons to school
when everything was so "perfect"
why did they take their own life?

while thinking one night
lying in bed
i decided to paint for you
a picture of my life

I was told that God created
a mission for everyone's life

mine is hidden
in the shadows of the mists
unreachable

and reality strikes quickly
when friends are stolen away

this poem i think made a good point at the end. i was harrassed and bullied in school and often thought of having a gun to defend myself. we wonder why the shootings happen. its because some bully has made that kids life in to a living hell. untill society wakes up and stops these bullies there will continue to be hatred and killing. a great poem with a great point. look forward tomore from you for you are obviously insightful.
