So leave them locked inside your head
Like the times we wish that we were dead
Shut your mouth and leave them there instead

Your not alone in the thoughts you're thinking
But most will condone the words you're speaking
Making you feel like you are a weakling
Knowing you can swim but now you are sinking

They get no satisfaction from the words you're saying
They have more passion for the dead man their praying
Than to care for a man they could keep from decaying
Who's life is the same as the book is portraying

A Holy Existance.... Death
A Wholy Existance.... Death

Suicide is a way of living
For those who died and the souls they're giving
To the Antichrist just to keep from sinning
Because we all know God is unforgiving

Great verse, and an even greater poem on the whole. You capture the hypocritical nature of man very accurately and just a few lines...but obviously that worthless idiot who slammed you doesn't know squat about good taste. His loss.

Jason,

Refreshing to come back to the site and see that one thing doesn't change, the talent of the people posting. I think, that of all your poems, this one is my favorite. You surpassed yourself, and it's great. I've missed your critical eye on society. I've found that I understand you as you understand me. Thanks for another fresh look...

You are still amazing.
