kisses her porcelain face like a tender lover
a sweet promise made in innocent desire
a promise to him, to him and no other
she dances on the waves of the eternal ocean
like a child she dances, awaits his return
she is the vision which guides his sails
for her to be happys his only concern
the horizon burns in fading denial
of sweet starry lights which come to prevail
in the dreaming bliss of the cool ocean mist
she spots a mirage or is it a sail
a crystal ship drifts out in the distance
she sees it now clearly and lets out a yell
i come for you darling he shouts to the heavens
and gazes at her as though caught in a spell
he leaps off the ship and swims up to meet her
a wild embrace and a smothering kiss
and so the sweet ocean meets with the shore

At the last 2 lines there is a mental/emotional retrogression for the reader....making you rethink/re-read the poem....well done.
