"UNDERSTOOD BACKWARDS"

Complex seem our lives when lived.
While experiencing, no reason give.
Hard for us to fathom, surmise?
Looking back, helps us to realize.

Why did it proceed as such or not?
Opposite if lived over, lost in thought?
A life we are now enjoying, desire.
Events turned unbeknownst conspire?

Forward we must live not back
Like pioneers trekking unfamiliar track.
Each step and adventure, unknown.....
Hoping our common sense has grown.

With faith of heart, and hope ahead.
We struggle, yearn, fear and dread.
Determination, endurance, finality
Doing our vey best to live reality!

With wisdom, knowledge gain, enlighten
Our bodies each day lose, frighten.
Vicious circle this life lived ahead.
All understood backwards, then we're dead!

Still knowing all of this, even to the end.
Life is still precious to be lived, my friend.
Live it very carefully, for your example...
May show a desperate soul,
to be alive is very special!

You have written a very good message here Critters. Sometimes life still confuses me. It's loving one minute and hateful the next. Excellent job. *S* Cynthia
