Developed upon each whisper and rhyme
Caressing each flower, pregnant with fear
Suppressing each sound, void of ones ear

Broken minds crumble, like walls of my heart
Spoken through pictures, your end is my start
Season come past, each one a new feeling
Reasons persist, for the lack of my healing

Obsessing takes over, rising in fire
Repressing each flame, lost to desire
Bribing my feelings, my weapon is age
Scribing each word, emotions on page

Sleeping they lie, my slumber is long
Weeping like rain, lay dormant my song
Her essence had vanished, nothing more but to hide
The day that she left, is the day that I died

Geez, pull the still-beating heart from my chest and throw it against the wall! Melancholy work, great expression of your feelings. Luke, how do you do it?

Truly,
-V.S.
