As a brand new day is born
It feels just like a new beginning
A step away from the norm

The grass feels so soft under my feet
The breeze cools my face and I want more
As I go into a place to meet
The one woman whom I adore

Whenever my life is at its worst
She always makes me feel this way
Neither fire nor brimstone, nor forces of earth
Will ever take me from her, I pray

She is as gentle as a dove
She is my life, she is my love [comments] => 5 [counter] => 334 [topic] => 2 [informant] => MrWrite [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Great poem. You have a very clear and simple writing style. I am not into dark poetry but this is cool.
