It's been four months and I still feel this way.
This is the worst i've ever been hurt.
You left me in the fire.
You left me burnt.
I thought you loved me,
I thought you cared.
I thought you understood that I was always there.
You pushed me to the side,
I made my feelings hide.
But as you walked away...

What's wrong with one more?

I can relate too... all it took one one time of being burnt... It's especially hard when it's ur first love... good write.... well written... keep up the good work.

Chillibear,I have been there to,someone once said it is better to have loved than to never have loved at all....I say that that is stupid.Good poem.

got hurt once is bad enough, got hurt twice is even worse, and got hurt three times or more....... oh dear..... I don't know any more..... nobody likes to get hurt, but somehow everybody does, so all one can do is allow the time to heal the wounds..... four months mat seem long to you, but guess what? it took me years to got over my first love, and eventually I am all right now, so do not worry, slowly you will get over it, we will survive.....
