It still holds your face
You have changed since then
That day we spent on the beach
You changed to survive
I guess we both have
We brought each other out of the shadows
Out of our shadows into the light
Where I let you fly
I pushed you so you could be stronger
Learn not to rely on me
As I relied on you
So you could find happiness
Your words
They echo in my mind
And can still make me smile
As well that cheeky smile
The one that melted my heart
Now there is coldness
A coldness that you had once warmed
It took your absence to feel
But it would not have changed my mind
For I see your smiles now
See them from afar
Now they are of a different kind
They have broken the chains that bound you
They don't just sit on your face
They illuminate your soul
And it has been such a long time
A long time since I have seen you
Since I have laughed the way you could make me laugh
Feel the way you made me feel
But that time has passed
And that though chills me
Makes me shudder inside
We had been friends for so long
An eternity it felt
There when we needed each other
I know I could never make you as happy
I guess I just miss my friend

I am just curious at the fact that this poem has had more reads than the two previous peoms that I have posted but no comments. I was just wondering why?, please I am not fussed about critasism, and would prefer to hear that than the silence. Please post me or send a message to tell me whats wrong before you move on ^_^ cheers thanks in advance
