i have given in
to deeper sin
that has paled me
for my regret
it's all that's left
since he failed me.
for the sacrifice
You gave Your life
i can not forget
and so i turn my ways
to fine Your face
i repent!
i see Your face again
my one true friend
You will not abandon me
though i have fallen in
You will forgive my sin
and destroy my apathy!
for the times
it blowed my mind
You would not care
and i realize
all of his lies
he told me You weren't there
and i believed in him
that was my greatest sin
and i fell from Your grace
i beg to be whole
please find my soul
get me out of this place!
for before i was lost somehow
and i know You are with me now
this i will not forget
i love You beyond the words
i have fallen, i have hurt
but now i repent
i believe in You
and this i choose to do
i will follow and believe
i will be safe
and with my faith
i will see!
You are there for me
through time i've grieved
i have missed Your presence
You have sacrificed
brought me back to life
this is my penance!
i believe in You
i promise never to forget You
destroy my apathy
and with You, i am safe
and with my faith
i believe.
