where i am lost
i may not be found
not because i cannot be
but because i am in the ground

the sunlight is fading now
the shadows stretch over me
they cover everything in sight
it covers everything the eyes can see

some only choose to look
when we open our eyes
but other know what is out there
they know their truths, they know their lies
