One by one they merge into one, spinning so fast my future becomes my past,
Could I ever catch up, slow down I've had enough,
It's like today is really tomorrow and tomorrow was really last night,
One thing I know for sure and that's we never make it out of life alive,

I wish I could step back out of my life, watch my existence, thus finding out if my decisions were right,
We never know what the future may hold,
We only know of our past, and we always wonder if our mistakes will catch us at last,
Are we really alive, or are we fragments of someone else's mind,

Questions go unanswered, thoughts are manipulated like cancer,
The older we get, the harder it is to resist,
Asking yourself whether this world can be helped,
Everyday people die, everyday some child cries,

It seems as if the world will 'impload',
Next thing you know some doctor states, I found a cure for some deadly virus, and again our hopes grow,
It's like I'm playing hide and go seek, in some sick twisted person's dream,
Being chased by a demon, waking up in my bed screaming,

The sun comes up, the sun goes down,
Here I stand in the middle of the ocean staring at a concert ground,
Does that make any sense, I'm about to rip through this fence,
It's all mass cunfusion, and we are only someone's illusion.

Forever Faithful
The Phantom
