Downfall
My soul is in constant warfare
My heart and mind battle
One stands, the other falls
But that won't be for long
Everything is my downfall
Endlessly taking me down
Get the perfect picture
And shatter it on the ground
Get the perfect image
And flip it upside down
That's what life is
Don't correct the incorrect
That's the mistake not to forget
Or you will be lost in regret
Slave to everything in the past
You will win the very last
Your mind is just shards of glass
Glass that broke on impact
The memories that were reenacted
The hope of the world dies
The hope of another day is lost inside
Another day goes by
Another thought crosses my mind
I'll never be free from the disease
I'm losing for all the wrong reasons
