Kissing me wetly as we lay together.
Soft satin sheets and jasmine candles burn slow.
Whispered, "I love you's" softly resonate.

A breeze was never warm nor soft enough
To match your loving touch bestowed upon me.
Always flew free like a whispering dove.
Your name to me synonymous forever with love.

Your hand always found mine whenever I smiled.
Reassuringly put arms around me as I cried.
My heart will forever be only in your hands.
No matter the cold or distance of all the lands.

The sands of time will come and go,
but I promise my love will remain.
This is something that took a lifetime to obtain.
It will endure in a million spoken words.

Coming strong in just as many songs.
It will show through in every written word.
My promise to you will always stand true.
If you ask my love, I will let you in.

My heart and soul, my very being is yours
forever, and ever, and always, the truth.

Endearing and soft. Like viewing a couples private moment and finding it incredibly beautiful. When you're with that special person nothing else matters. Now I am getting all mushy and sappy so i'll stop. Beautiful poem and the title was perfect. Kie
