It's been so long,
and now I'm alone,
I forgot how to handle it.
I told her no,
she cried for awhile,
finally I quit.
She's over it,
quicker than I thought,
but I think she's in denial.
I hurt her,
and I know it,
she'll feel it for a while.
Her friends were mad,
I can take it,
I don't understand, what's the big deal.
She's really mad,
I can tell,
but how the hell am I supposed to feel?
She was worried,
I figured that,
everyone made me the bad guy.
I'm too young,
they should know,
love isn't something you can just buy.
It's real,
and always alive,
with her it just wasn't there.
I see another,
in my mind,
I see her almost everywhere.
She's beautiful,
she's smart,
but I won't go into details.
Is she it?
we'll find out,
just know, love always prevails.
