Midnight strikes, I'll be gone by sunrise,
I can't take this pain, I'm always to blame,
Look at this face, can you see the black around my eyes,
I can no longer hide, there only so much make-up I can use as a disguise,

Running into the arms of a stranger, unaware of possible danger,
I seek shelter, someone to ease my pain, but all that did was bring me shame,
My so called friends took avantage of me, they used my body to fulfill their fantasies,
Over and over they ravaged my body, beaten and battered I began cying,

What have I done, I'm so stupid so dumb,
Where to go from here, I can't go home they don't care,
I was used by my so called friends, where does the pain stop, and the healing begin,
I feel like a whore, buck naked lying on the floor,

Drugs became the key, the more I used the less life bothered me,
Everything from speed to crack, Angel dust to PCP, What a life living on the street,

" In today's news a young girl that had been missing for two years was found dead in an alley, an apparent overdose, she was Fifteen."

Forever Faithful

Makes you think of how diffucult and terrible leading that life must be. Inspiringly well written. Bravo! Encore.

It is a sad commentary on our society when a young person feels they have no place to go but the streets into almost sure death, one way or the other. Disturbing but written well.
