on a moonlit summer night,
the warm breeze blows
through its mane and tail.

The stars twinkle
in their most radiant light,
he waits for another of his kind
to come along and
stand beside him on the hill.

He bends his lengthy
muscular neck down to the ground
and picks a few blades of grass,
he stops and looks,
off in the distance
he sees another unicorn.

The moonlight glistens
on her shiny, white coat,
he slowly begins to
walk over to her.

She is a little timid
of him at first,
then their noses meet.

Their necks entwine
like a pair of lovers
entangled in a hug,
their hearts and souls become one.

They gallop to the
top of the hill and
stand together as one,
in the warm,
moonlit summer night.
